Meet Joyce                                                             

Born and educated in Gloucestershire England.

At the moment Joyce is studying for a diploma in art and creativity  with TLC Wellington, yes at 75 years old!

 But that's only a number.For many years she has painted birds, they are her passion.  But now she has branched out into other work, commissions that include wine labels, pets and larger works. Samples are available in the the portfolio section.  Watercolours and acrylic are her main choice but she also uses pencil, graphite and homemade charcoal.  In the photo she is doing a portrait of a man in charcoal.

Meet Geoff

Hi , I'm the  boss (Joyce said I can say that).  

My part in our team is to make up the art work and print the cards and books in the gallery, and of course make coffee.

Here I am on holiday gathering inspiration.

 

 

 

Our Place

We are so lucky to live and work on the beautiful beach in Motueka.  Outside our back door is a sand spit where we can see 1000's of estuary birds including the bar tailed Godwit's who visit us from Siberia each year.

This place is Joyce's heaven.  I'm sure she was a bird (the feathered kind) in a previous life.

 

 

 

Motueka Market

At our  Motueka market every Sunday during the summer from September to March.  The market is held in the carpark behind the Information Centre all year.
